Counselling is a talking therapy that aims to help you deal with and overcome issues that are causing you emotional pain or making you feel uncomfortable.  It can also help with:

  • understanding yourself and your problems better
  • deal with feelings of anxiety, helping you worry less about things
  • deal with feelings of depression or sadness, and have a more positive outlook on life
  • cope with a bereavement or relationship breakdown
  • explore issues such as sexual identity
  • cope with redundancy or work-related stress
  • feel more confident
  • cope with the impact of childhood abuse or domestic abuse
  • negative thoughts or feelings you may be having​ 


I am able to offer short term or long term counselling.  Sessions are normally 50 minutes long and on the same day and time each week.


My fee is £40 a session


My fee for trainee counsellors is £25 a session


My fee for supervision is £40 per hour, I do have concessions for trainee counsellors.
